3M™ Perfect-It™ Back-up Pad allows for easy attachment, quick removal and accurate centering of compounding or polishing pads. We used our 3M™ Hookit™ attachment system for these pads to enhance convenience and boost productivity with quick change of abrasive discs.

Use the 3M™ Perfect-It™ Back-up Pad as part of our 3M™ Perfect-It™ system. It’s a quicker, more efficient way to get exceptional finishes on gelcoats and paints with deeper colour and gloss. Use our back-up pad for secure non-slip attachment, easy removal and accurate centring of compounding or polishing pads. Remove defects more thoroughly and get a smoother, more refined finish to vehicle surfaces, thanks to the cushioning support our pads provide.
