The 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Lower Body Warming Blanket, 52500 is a single-use lower-body forced-air warming blanket that prevent hypothermia and maintain normothermia in patients undergoing upper-body surgical procedures, which has been shown to reduce the risk of surgical site infection (SSI)(1,2).

The 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Lower Body Warming Blanket, 52500 is made of a soft, comfortable, lightweight material with perforations across the blanket to deliver uniform convective warming for your patients. This forced-air warming blanket provides excellent heat transfer to help maintain normothermia, which has been shown to reduce the risk of SSI(1,2) and shorten patient stay(1,2).

Suggested applications
  • 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Temperature Management Solutions are indicated for hypothermic patients or normothermic patients for whom induced hypothermia or localized temperature therapy is clinically indicated. In addition, the solutions can be used to provide patient thermal comfort when conditions exist that may cause patients to become too warm or too cold. The temperature management systems can be used with adult and pediatric patients. Bair Hugger Temperature Management Solutions should only be used by trained medical professionals
