3M™ High Temperature Aluminum Foil/Glass Cloth Tape 363 contains an aluminum foil backing combined with glass cloth tape and a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive. Strong and flexible, this tape is ideal as a heat protective wrap for heat sensitive cables and other instruments in many aerospace and industrial applications that will be exposed to movement and vibration.
Strength with Combined Technology We've designed our 3M™ High Temperature Aluminum Foil/Glass Cloth Tape 363 to withstand even the most difficult applications. The backing is a combination of aluminum foil and glass cloth. It has a 3.4 mil thickness and it is strong and flexible with an extremely high tensile strength and puncture and tear resistance. It is conformable so that it can adhere to uneven and textured substrates. This tape is light and heat reflective, plus it resists flame, moisture, weather and UV degradation. It is a chemical resistant, thermally conductive tape ideal for heating and cooling efficiency. It will perform consistently at temperatures ranging from -65°F/-54°C to 600°F/316°C. 3M™ High Temperature Aluminum Foil/Glass Cloth Tape 363 meets the requirements of F.A.R. 25.853 (a). It adheres well to silicone surfaces and over irregular or uneven substrates. Best results are obtained when applied to a clean, dry surface above 32°F/0°C, but this tape can be applied at lower temperatures.
