3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive DP190 is a two-part epoxy adhesive that delivers exceptional performance with high shear and peel strength. Extremely compatible, we formulated this epoxy adhesive to bond to a wide range of materials, such as metals, ceramics, wood, fiberboard, glass, rubber and many plastics.

Rely on Long-Term Durability 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 190 has a moderately high modulus. With a 90-minute work-life, this epoxy adhesive allows for an extended period of time for adjustment and precise application. 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 190 reaches handling strength in approximately 10 hours with a room cure time of 7 to 14 days. With a 1:1 mix ratio, this epoxy adhesive has low to medium viscosity, providing easy dispensing. Additionally, we engineered 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 190 to exhibit good environmental aging properties, delivering long-term durability. Recommended Applications 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 190 can be employed in many industries, including sporting goods, solar energy, wind energy, composites, electronics, military, transportation and aerospace. For dispensing, 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EPX™ Plus II applicator and mix nozzles are required (not included). 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 190 can be used for many applications, including: Bonding Joining Gluing Attaching Assembling Encapsulating Potting Sealing What are Epoxy Adhesives? Epoxy adhesives are part of the class of adhesives called "structural adhesives," which also includes polyurethane, acrylic, cyanoacrylate and others. Epoxies begin as reactive liquid polymers that undergo a chemical reaction when mixed, and then cure to form a solid plastic material. Once the two parts are mixed in their specified ratio, they begin the curing process and offer a limited working time where the adhesive can be applied and the two surfaces positioned as need. This work life lasts anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours or longer. These structural adhesives provide high shear and peel strengths, depending on the formula, and better heat and chemical resistance than other common adhesives. In general, epoxy adhesives have the highest overall strength and offer the best performance and most resistance to high temperatures, solvents and outdoor weathering. Epoxy adhesives are widely used in building and home construction, aircraft and automobile manufacture, bicycle, boat, golf clubs, ski and snowboard assembly and a host of home use and other applications; virtually anywhere high-strength bonds are needed along with resistance to environmental conditions. These adhesives are popular for their ease of use, mechanical strength and chemical resistance. Formulations can be created to make epoxies that are flexible or rigid, transparent or opaque, quick setting or slow setting. The versatility with which epoxy adhesives can be formulated helps meet almost any requirement for bonding wood, metal, glass, stone and various plastics. Industrial uses for epoxies range widely and include coatings, adhesives and composite materials like carbon fiber and glass-reinforced plastic. They are the preferred choice for their ability to flow and conform to the work area, strong adhesion, chemical and heat resistance and exceptional mechanical and electrical insulating properties. Designed to be Dependable 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 190 is designed to be flexible, capable of bonding a wide variety of materials. Providing high shear and peel strength as well as an extended work-life, we created this product to deliver exceptional performance for your specific project needs.
