3M™ Glass Bubbles K1 have a density of 0.125 g/cc and an isostatic crush strength of 250 psi.
3M glass bubbles K1 are ideal additives for shallow water floatation devices like buoys and moorings as well as buoyancy modules. They have the lowest density of any 3M glass bubble (0.125 g/cc), isostatic crush strength good to 250 psi and are low in cost. Like all 3M glass bubbles, K1 bubbles are compatible with thermoset resins like polyurethane and epoxy, and are virtually insoluble in water.
