Clear braces

Clear Braces

Clear braces keep a low profile for greater comfort, convenience and confidence. Now, that’s a game changer!

Giving patients of all ages more reasons to smile

  • Change your smile, not your lifestyle.

Clear Braces give you the freedom to enjoy the little things while straightening your teeth. Eat and drink whenever you want with no additional maintenance beyond normal brushing or flossing required. Unlike invisible aligners, which must be removed for every bite and sip (other than water), 3M™ Clarity™ Clear Braces are always in and always working.

First, you’ll get x-rays, take photos, and make an accurate mold of your teeth. If you have any x-rays from your dentist, bring them along. This is the time to ask all your questions – so come prepared!

  • Close-up of clear braces
    Getting your braces on.

This appointment may last for up to two hours. The braces will be bonded to your teeth using a special adhesive and curing light. Finally, your orthodontist will run an archwire through the braces to hold them in place.

Adjustment appointments may be recommended every 4-8 weeks throughout your treatment. These routine "adjustments" go much faster than getting your braces in the first place.
