Coming out can be tough, but parent support can make it easier. The Command™ Brand supports people fearlessly making their space their own, and at the core of this is fearlessly being yourself. PFLAG and 3M are encouraging parents to send messages of support to their kids and spread the message for all to see. The #ParentsComingOut program is meant to tell the powerful and impactful stories of real parents and families to empower and unify others. Stories and video footage were collected before and during the 2017 Twin Cities Pride Festival and curated on the website parentscomingout.com, which will also gather and show messages of support as they are posted on social media using the hashtag.
