In the world’s northernmost city, Norilsk, Russia, the polar night lasts from December 1 to mid-January. That’s non-stop darkness, something you will find only in polar circles. To brighten the scenery in this Siberian town, kids’ colorful drawings splash the sides of city buses.
Buses zoom through the city sporting children’s artwork, using graphic wrap film. And, this is only the beginning. The buses will be updated periodically to brighten the polar night, even in the midst of unrelenting winter.
