Our Scotch-Brite™ Production Clean and Finish Disc delivers high cut, long life, a fine finish, and is effective for conditioning aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, wood, and fiberglass. The disc is designed for fine finishing, paint prepping, and scratch blending, and conforms well to irregular surfaces for a clean, consistent finish without undercutting or damaging the base material.
Dense Disc Produces Fine Finish on Solid Surfaces
Our Scotch-Brite™ Production Clean and Finish Disc is engineered to achieve a fine finish on solid surfaces, painted panels, and other materials. Non-woven, open-web runs cool and resists loading to provide a consistent level of abrasive conditioning over the life of the disc. Compared to our standard Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Finish Disc, this Production disc is denser and more resistant to tearing.
We manufactured the Scotch-Brite™ Production Clean and Finish Disc using Very Fine grade aluminum oxide abrasive. Due to its high cut-rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention, aluminum oxide mineral is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing use. Aluminum oxide is suitable on a wide variety of substrates in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.
