3M™ Under Sink Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System CMTRO-75 are an advanced multi-stage reverse osmosis filtration system designed to reduce impurities from potable water using reverse osmosis technology. The highly effective, semi-permeable (or porous) membrane uses incoming water pressure to push water through the membrane while separating out unwanted contaminants.

3M™ Under Sink Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System CMTRO-75 multi-stage reverse osmosis system filtration systems help provide cleaner, clearer drinking water using proven reverse osmosis technology. Reverse osmosis is a water filtration method that filters impurities by forcing water through a semi-permeable (or porous) membrane. The dissolved particulate is then held on the pressurized side of the membrane allowing the clean water to pass to the other side. Unwanted contaminants are flushed down the drain leaving users with cleaner, clearer drinking water.

Originally developed in the late 1940’s for water desalinization, the reverse osmosis process was improved upon and is now used to effectively filter other unwanted contaminants. The Water Factory Systems™ Under Sink Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Systems** are capable of reducing many contaminants. For specific contaminant reduction information, please refer to the Performance Data Sheets for each product.

Unlike some reverse osmosis drop in housing designs, users benefit from the Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design. Older and potentially competitive systems may require the user to directly touch spent filter material and other contaminated surfaces during cartridge or membrane change-out. p>

Our sanitary quick change design allows you to easily change out and replace cartridges with a quick quarter-turn without touching the spent filter media or contaminated water. The encapsulated media cartridge releases quickly with just a quarter-turn and safely contains contaminated water.

*Surfaces that are in contact with water are FDA CFR-21 compliant

**Specific models listed by NSF for identified contaminant reduction are SQC 3 and SQC 4. SQC Pro is only listed by NSF for chlorine taste and odor, particulate and TDS. The State of Iowa does not recognize chlorine taste and odor as a contaminant. For specific contaminant reduction information, please refer to the Performance Data Sheets for each product.
