At 3M, we know that at-height work presents personnel with unique safety challenges and concerns. To help make some of the most dangerous tasks easier, we created a variety of work seats that are both comfortable to wear and durable. The 3M™ DBI-SALA® Bosun's Chair is appropriate for inspection work, window washing, painting, maintenance, and oil production, along with any other activities that require personnel to be suspended at a specific height and location. All work seats should be used in combination with a full body harness and fall protection system.
3M™ manufactures the most comfortable and widest range of workseats you'll find anywhere. We have rigid board seat styles as well as soft web slings, and options of built in body belts and cushions just to name a few. Workseats are ideal for inspection work, window washing, painting, maintenance, oil production, and any others activities where you need to be suspended at a specific work height and location to complete a task. Remember, always use a workseat in combination with a full body harness and fall arrest system, NEVER use workseats alone where there is any chance of a free fall.
