The Zeta Plus™ BC Series Filter Capsule with HP Series Media is designed to be used with a Zeta Plus™ Encapsulated System holder and single-use manifolds. Our family of advanced encapsulated depth filters is designed to provide clarification of bioprocess, biological and pharmaceutical fluids. We developed the Zeta Plus™ Encapsulated System Filter Capsule with SP Series filter media to provide optimal clarification of pharmaceutical, biological, bioprocess, and cosmetic fluids.

Our family of Zeta Plus™ HP Series Filter media is composed of advanced cellulose-based depth filtration media, designed to retain contaminants by both mechanical entrapment and electrokinetic adsorption.

Encapsulating High Performance 
When faced with the challenges of filtration for the life sciences industry, where upstream clarification or downstream impurity removal is required, the Zeta Plus™ Encapsulated System Filter Capsule with HP Series media meets this challenge and raises the bar when used in 3M's Zeta Plus™ Encapsulated system holders. Zeta Plus encapsulated system portfolio includes three product lines: a pilot system that is ideal for laboratory and pilot-scale studies, and two systems that are designed for production scale manufacturing.

Our encapsulated systems for production scale biomanufacturing can be pivoted between horizontal and vertical positions. This innovative feature allows for fast and convenient loading and unloading at waist height, minimal footprint during filtration and storage, minimal fluid spills during unloading, and full utilization of the filter media.

In order to facilitate effective monitoring of liquid levels during fill, filtration, and finish, we incorporated a translucent plastic shell on our standard capsules that allows technicians to easily view the liquid level without having to interrupt the process. Another innovative feature is our self-guiding locking mechanism that provides fast and reliable capsule-to-capsule connection.

Scalability
We utilize the effective lenticular filter design and vertical flow path on our Zeta Plus™ Encapsulated System Filter Capsule with HP Media, which has proven effective for depth filtration systems. Combined with our small scale Zeta Plus™ BC filter capsules with HP media, the Zeta Plus™ BC Series Filter Capsule with HP Series Media offer a complete single-use solution to process from 100 ml to 2500 L of liquid.
