  • How to Wear

    1. Start wrapping at ball of foot, continuing under foot from inside to outside.

    Step One

    2. Make 2 or 3 turns around foot moving towards ankle with each turn overlapping one-half of the previous layer. Begin a figure-eight turn bringing bandage up outside of foot, over instep and inside around ankle.

    Step Two

    3. Continue down inside of foot around heel, back up over instep, down under foot, and back up completely around ankle.

    Step Three

    4. Repeat figure-eight 2 or 3 times overlapping one-half of the previous layer and rising above the ankle.

    Step Four

    Care Instructions

To Clean the Bandage: Unroll the bandage. Rinse the bandage in lukewarm water by hand. To prolong the life of the bandage's self-adhesive property, DO NOT use detergent or scrub the bandage. Dry the bandage by laying it out flat on a clean surface while separating those places where it is sticking together.

DO NOT machine dry or iron the bandage. After the bandage has dried, re-roll it for future use. Because of the bandage's unique self-adhesive feature, it will stick to itself through several wearings. After this time, it is necessary to use a fresh bandage.

NOTE: Washing will generally reduce the degree of self-adhesiveness.

Customer Reviews
ACE™ Brand Self-Adhering Bandage is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 229.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from WASTE of MONEY!!!! I bought the 4 inch one for my foot and ankle. I haven't even had it on for an hour, and it is falling off and won't adhere to itself. It's very sticky, and every single piece of lint, hair, etc sticks to it. Worst money spent. I am so disappointed with ACE now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wasted money I bought this to wrap a foot injury. It was very difficult to unroll while wrapping. It was very difficult to insert the wrapped foot into a shoe, as it stuck to the shoe and would not slide in. Then, it was impossible to remove the shoe at the end of the day without tearing out the insole and ruining that. Removing the wrap was also harder than it should have to be. I will never buy this product again. Worst product ever.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible idea Pain in the butt do to the fact that is adheres to itself make it nearly impossible to reuse it. The good old fashioned ace wrap with the clips is what I will use from now on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great while it sticks - and that isnt long I bought this a few days ago to apply some compression to my arm. It worked great the first and second time. The third time took some fidgeting but I got it to stick. Fourth time did not stick. Washed per instructions- no soap flat air dry - and that did very little (not to mention a pain in the rear to dry(). ACE should really label this a single use or limited use product and not reusable. It isn't.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it Worked for one day. Tried to put it on day 2 and it won’t stick. Wish I bought the tried and true one with the hooks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Self stick I bought this product to cover a cut so the bandage would stay clean. I was very impressed that even after washing the product it still stayed sticky

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not reusable I’m having no issue with adherence. In fact, after use, it curls to the point that when I remove it, it adheres to itself in the shape of a shoestring or Twizzler. This makes it unusable since it’s virtually impossible to flatten out, almost permanently stuck to itself. Any ideas on how to correct this to become useable again? For the cost, seems ridiculous for a one-time application.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from bought two of them but if re-adjusted, won't hold I bought two of the ace bandages 4 inch and wore each a day or so. Then I tried to re-adjust them for less swelling/ comfort, but they will not hold together anymore. What can I do? I thought they were just what I needed, but I guess not now.
