Wasted Time. Doesn’t stick
I spent 49 minutes taping off a wall, baseboards etc. I noticed a spot at the top was coming loose so I made sure to rub the entire ceiling taped area again. I went into another room for about 20 minutes and started hearing a “hissing” noise. Turns out it was ALL of the tape slowly releasing from my ceiling, and then down the walls. ugh! I thought there was something wrong with my walls until I saw the other reviews. The only upside is that I no longer feel so alone in my frustration.

I read all the bad reviews in shock! I finished a very detailed restoration job in 3 rooms, and this was far and away the best masking tape I ever used in 30yrs. Only came on this site trying to find where to buy more, as Lowes no longer has it.

Couldn’t rate a zero
This is the worst tape I have ever used. It tore off a ton of old paint from a wall that I taped to create a sharp corner. I have also used it on other surfaces and it fails there too. This cost me a lot of money to re paint and pay for more paint for the customer.

Didn't stay in place
I taped my area off the night before to get a great start in the morning, but when I went to start the job, the tape was not where I had placed it. It felt like it would have been great tape, but couldn't believe my luck. I came to this website to learn more about the tape (maybe I wasn't using it for the correct application), I came across reviews from other people with the same problem. I can't believe with all these 1 reviews, retailers are still selling the tape.

Worst Tape Ever
This tape did not hold at all. I have used 3M painters tape for years, but this new product gives the xompany a bad name. I will be changing brands. We taped our living room the night before painting & woke the next morning to have at least 90% hanging down. We were careful to press hard & have clean surfaces.
Very disappointed.

Didn’t stay on
Like other reviews I found the tape didn’t stick well. I taped before bed last night and found the tape had peeled off and buckled up when I came to paint this morning. Very frustrating. I had cleaned the surfaces before and used firm pressure to apply. I haven’t had trouble with other products.

Waste of Money and TIME!
This tape presented poor adhesive properties. It does not stay adhered to any type of surfaces. I wasted 3 hours taping a project for a client. I cleaned and burnished the tape in position. By the next morning it was coming off multiple areas, wall, painted trim, railings. It really should be discontinued.

Tape doesn't work
The tape allows paint leakage. No clear lines, the result is just as bad as if you painted without the tape.
