3M™ Flexile Acoustic Material FAB0310

3M FAB0310 combines multiple NVH acoustic properties in a single, non-molded material. It can potentially eliminate molding steps – and the costs associated with molding – for an overall lightweight system solution. 3M FAB0310 offers the opportunity to replace multi-layer NVH solutions, such as, EVA and foam, with a single layer material.

3M FAB0310 provides excellent acoustic performance at 2000 Hz and above. By addressing this difficult to treat range, we help OEMs meet NVH requirements and increase passenger comfort by decreasing tire and road noise.

At only 4.5 mm, 3M FAB0310 is excellent for use in applications with limited space – allowing you more flexibility in your designs and the potential to increase cabin space. Our material is lighter weight than most typical barriers, which can help increase fuel/range efficiency.
