3M™ Nu-Derm™ Hydrocolloid Dressings are designed to help maintain a moist wound environment for dry to moderately exuding wounds.

This moist wound healing environment encourages autolytic debridement, enabling granulation to proceed under optimum conditions. They are also designed to protect low risk wounds against bacterial contamination*. The dressings are semi-transparent, conformable and have a low-friction top film, allowing close and easy monitoring of the wound bed without dressing removal.

*Consult a clinician prior to using 3M™ Nu-Derm™ Hydrocolloid Dressings on lesions caused by tuberculosis, syphilis or deep fungal infections, cancer and wounds at high risk of infection.

Suggested Applications

  • The dressings are primarily indicated for the management of superficial dry/low exuding wounds, post-operative wounds and superficial wounds and abrasions. It is also useful on small wounds towards the end of the healing phase.
