The 3M™ MacroPES™ Flat Sheet Membranes pore structure in combination with the relatively open surface is responsible for the high filtration performance with a low tendency to blocking.

Due to the slightly asymmetrical distribution of the pores, the retention layer lies protected inside the cross-section, while the surface with its open pore structure ensures high filtration performance. The material used is characterized by excellent wetting properties due to polar surface. MacroPES Flat Sheet Membranes possess good thermal welding properties for applications in various industries.
