The 3M™ Condensation Management Film Starter Kit (CMFi) includes five rolls of 3M™ Condensation Management Film to help manage intermittent condensation formed during the hot cleaning process in cooled food processing facilities. It includes film in 1-inch (two rolls), 2-inch (two rolls) and 4-inch (one roll) widths, plus an applicator.

The 3M™ Condensation Management Film (CMFi) Starter Kit includes five rolls of 3M™ Condensation Management Film, a system for management of condensation designed to manage intermittent pipe condensation that forms during the hot cleaning process in cooled food processing facilities. The surface of the thin anti-condensation film has channels that wick water via capillary action, which also increases the surface-to-volume ratio of the condensate, thereby increasing the evaporation rate. This starter kit includes film in 1-inch (two rolls), 2-inch (two rolls) and 4-inch (one roll) widths, plus an applicator. Refer to the CMFi How to Apply bulletin (70-0716-9840-4) to determine proper tape width for specific situations.

Recommended Applications

  • Cooled food processing facilities
  • Useful in areas that experience intermittent high humidity situations and conditions are favorable to allow for evaporation
  • Condensate management in any facility where condensation and release of hanging droplets are an intermittent problem

NOTE:  This product is NOT for use in managing continuous condensation such as a cold pipe in a warm room or freezer tunnel entrances. This product does not contain an antimicrobial. THIS PRODUCT MAY CONTAIN NATURAL RUBBER LATEX WHICH MAY CAUSE ALLERGIC REACTIONS.
