Festool Compressed Air Eccentric Sander LEX 2 185/7 quickly and efficiently sands large, flat surfaces, designed for use with a large 7-1/4" sanding pad. This sander is recommended for both intermediate and coarse sanding, as well as light sanding applications – paint, varnish and wooden materials. Sander operates at a 7 mm sanding stroke capacity.

Festool Compressed Air Eccentric Sander LEX 2 185/7 is a lightweight, compact and very durable sander that's excellent for quickly sanding large surfaces with greater efficiency. The sander offers versatile performance for everything from coarse and intermediate sanding to light sanding of painted, varnished and wooden surfaces. Its high material removal rate and coverage capacity comes from using a 7-1/4" sanding disc while operating with a 7 mm sanding stroke. Weighing just 3.5 lbs. (1.6 kg), it features a compressed air vaned motor that delivers 16,000 RPM with an eccentric motion speed of 8,000 RPM. The pneumatic motor has relatively few parts, which delivers a long lifespan. Air-powered motors also produce less vibration than electric versions, delivering greater comfort and control.
3-in-1 Hose Design Channels Airflow and Provides Dust Extraction
This sander uses an IAS 2/IAS 3 connecting system for operation, which delivers 3-in-1 functionality when used with the Total Automotive Sanding System. A single hose supplies air for sanding, directs exhaust away from you and the work surface and provides dust extraction.
Quick and Simple Disc Replacement
Festool Compressed Air Eccentric Sander LEX 2 185/7 features MULTI-Jetstream technology where air blown through central passages continually distributes dust and particulates toward the edges of the pads, extending abrasive life. Sanding pads feature a hook and loop system which allows you to remove and reuse abrasive discs. This helps reduce material costs. Designed with the technician's safety in mind, non-slip grip improves ergonomics, and the sanding pad brake reduces tool free spin.
