3M™ Interior Trim Film - Relief Metal Series is a series of versatile films designed to create slightly raised, textured metallic patterns on interior automotive trim and components. Film features a 300% elongation property for maximum coverage and protection across parting lines. The films are applied using DVT, and metallic textured film technology incorporates real metals for authenticity.

3M™ Interior Trim Film - Relief Metal Series is a versatile and efficient method for creating truly distinctive automotive interiors. 3M achieves this authentic look of metal by including metal in the film formulation — nearly as close as you can get to real metal, without the added weight and expense. This film features slightly raised patterns that maintain this metallic look while also providing a "touchable" feel to the component that adds dimension and depth to its appearance. In most cases, this film is supplied in custom finishes developed jointly between 3M and the individual OEM design studio. Automotive OEM designers can specify films for a range of metals including stainless steel and aluminum, and a tremendous variety of relief textures and patterns for singular model and brand differentiation. The film can also be easily tuned for gloss and color to meet precise design specifications.
