3M™ Venture Tape™ Double Coated Tissue Tape 526 is a tissue-backed tape with a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive on both sides. This adhesive is designed to perform in cold weather as well as a range of higher temps, and offers high tack as well as excellent peel performance and shear strength. It adheres well to kraft and coated papers, and is commonly used for high performance splicing on paper, films and other continuous web processes. The non-woven tissue carrier adds stability. This tape offers excellent temperature performance in various applications. A densified kraft paper liner adds moisture resistance.

What is Double Coated Tape?
In general, double coated tape is composed of a paper, film, or tissue carrier that is coated on both sides with pressure sensitive adhesive. The adhesive is protected by a peel-away liner that is removed at the time of application. These tapes can be applied by hand or with a dispenser. Double coated tape dispensers are available in a variety of configurations ranging from manual to fully automatic.
