3M™ Dyneon™ Peroxide Cure Perfluoroelastomer PFE 40 combines ease of processing with outstanding chemical, thermal, steam and compression set resistance, making it an ideal sealing solution for many tough oil and gas, chemical processing and industrial sealing applications. It also features very low metal ion content with low extractables, making it ideal for wet process electronics manufacturing such as semiconductor and flat panel display. It is classified as FFKM per ASTM D1418.

Designed for Wet Process Electronics Manufacturing
Due to its improved acid resistance and lower metal ion extractables, 3M™ Dyneon™ Peroxide Cure Perfluoroelastomer PFE 40 is ideal for wet process electronics manufacturing such as semiconductor and flat panel display. In addition, this perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) features many favorable attributes that make it suitable for wet chemical, fluid handling, cleaning, and chemical etching processes.

Dyneon peroxide cure perfluoroelastomer PFE 40 has a fully fluorinated backbone structure and is designed to meet demanding sealing applications, with an upper use temperature of 200°C (392°F). In addition, PFE 40 can be compounded for good acid resistance. This product is packaged in slab form and is available in 1 and 10 kg boxes.
