This product offers high transparency without compromising on weatherability. It is designed for use in extrusion and molding processes.
Properties and Applications
3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic Granules THV 610GZ provides a balance of very good permeation resistance to hydrocarbon fuels and other chemicals, low flammability, thermal stability, and melt processability. Dyneon fluoroplastic granules THV 610GZ also exhibits excellent weatherability. 3M™ Dyneon™ THVs exhibit excellent flexibility relative to other fluorothermoplastics; Dyneon THV 610GZ is a mid-range resin that has good flexibility and optical clarity, plus slightly better chemical and temperature resistance compared to 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic Granules THV 500GZ.
Dyneon THV 610GZ has the ability to bond to itself, as well as elastomers and olefinic plastics. It can also be extruded into optically clear sheets and tubes or molded into articles requiring flexibility and flame resistance. Additionally, this product is e-beam curable.
