3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FT 2320 is a low viscosity terpolymer designed for extrusion and calendering applications. With a proprietary incorporated cure technology, users may save time by not having to create their own cure package. This product has a very high fluorine content, which gives it improved chemical resistance compared with other lower fluorine products.

High Fluorine. Excellent Performance.
3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FT 2320 is a terpolymer of vinylidene fluoride, hexafluoropropylene, and tetrafluoroethylene. It can be compounded using standard water cooled internal mixers or two-roll mills with standard fillers and ingredients utilized in typical fluoroelastomer formulations. The dry ingredients should be blended before adding to the masticated gum. For best results, Dyneon fluoroelastomer FT 2320 should be banded on the mill several minutes prior to adding the blended dry ingredients. Once mixed, the compounded stocks have good scorch resistance and storage stability.

Notably, this low viscosity fluoroelastomer offers very good chemical and temperature resistance for product durability and longevity. The inclusion of our incorporated cure technology may help compounders save time and increase throughput. This product also stands apart from others due to its very high, 69% fluorine content. The high fluorine content gives this fluoroelastomer improved chemical resistance compared with other lower percent fluorine fluoroelastomers.

The Right Size to Fit the Job
This product is sold in different sizes, so compounders and formulators can pick the right size for the job. Dyneon fluoroelastomer FT 2320 is packaged in milled slab form (as opposed to unmilled forms like crumb) and is available in a returnable bulk shipping container system for 1,320 Ibs (600 kg) of material. The bulk container system is comprised of 48 individual polyethylene bags containing 27.5 Ibs (12.5 kg) of product. Smaller quantities are available in 55.1 Ibs (25.0 kg) boxes.
