3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FC 2211 is an ultra-low viscosity copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropylene containing 65.9% fluorine. This fluoroelastomer (FKM) offers greater flow and filler loadings compared to conventional high-viscosity fluoroelastomers. It is a raw gumstock and is curable using amine or bisphenol-type curing agents.

A Versatile FKM
3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FC 2211 boasts numerous favorable attributes that make it suitable for use in transfer and injection molding, extrusion, calendering and coatings. It does not feature an incorporated curative, but is amine or bisphenol curable.

Dyneon fluoroelastomer FC 2211 can be compounded using standard water-cooled internal mixers or two-roll mills with standard fillers and ingredients utilized in typical fluoroelastomer (FKM) formulations. The dry ingredients should be blended before adding to the masticated gum. For best results, FC 2211 should be banded on the mill prior to adding the blended dry ingredients.

Offering Different Quantities to Meet the Needs of the Job
Dyneon fluoroelastomer FC 2211 is packaged in slab form and is available in a returnable bulk shipping container system for 1,320 Ibs (600 kg) of material. The bulk container system is comprised of 48 individual polyethylene bags containing 27.5 Ibs (12.5 kg) of product. Smaller quantities are available in 55.1 Ib (25.0 kg) boxes.
