Highlights
  • Ceramic aluminum oxide blend yields a noticeably faster cut-rate than standard aluminum oxide
  • Durable mineral extends belt life, producing more parts per belt and requiring fewer belt changes
  • Narrow file belt is ideal for grinding and blending hard-to-reach areas
  • Effectively performs finishing and polishing from slack of belt
  • YF-weight polyester backing supports high-pressure applications and can be run wet or dry
  • Grinding aid reduces heat and increases performance on stainless steel and exotic metals
  • Durable resin bond resists deterioration from heat, extending the life of the belt

Ideal for maintenance and repair, the narrow Standard Abrasives™ Ceramic Belt reaches into corners and small spaces. The blend of high-performing ceramic grain and aluminum oxide creates a harder, longer-lasting abrasive that excels at moderate stock removal to finishing. A grinding aid enables use on heat-sensitive alloys, while the heavy polyester backing supports high-pressure applications.

Boosts Cut-Rate and Excels Under Pressure
Perfect for moderate to heavy stock removal in offhand and pressure grinding, ceramic abrasives are engineered to cut fast and handle intense heat and stress applications. Our Standard Abrasives™ Ceramic Belt features a ceramic and aluminum oxide blend that surpasses aluminum oxide in cut-rate and durability. When dealing with tricky spots on the workpiece, our narrow Standard Abrasives™ Ceramic Belt is a good match for blending corners, contour finishing, deburring edges, and deburring inside diameters.

Ideal for Stainless and Exotic Alloys
To protect heat sensitive metals, a grinding aid reduces running temperatures, and the abrasive is resin-bonded to the backing to maintain durability under high heat and pressure. Use this belt on stainless steel, nickel alloys, and cobalt alloys for dimensioning parts, deburring, blending, and finishing castings and forgings. If a lubricant is needed, this belt has you covered - the versatile polyester backing supports both wet and dry applications.
