  • 3 mil clear PET film provides high tensile strength and reduces tear-outs
  • Non-silicone release coating applied to one side for specific constructions
  • Clean-room compatible with a moderate release force

3M™ Non-Silicone Secondary Release Liner 4935 is a 3 mil clear polyester film with a non-silicone release coating applied to one side, suitable for applications where silicone release agents can leave residue or interfere with subsequent processes. The 4935 release coating delivers a medium release level. PET film liner construction adds strength for reduced tear-outs and easy converting.

Selection of 3M Secondary Liners
3M™ Secondary Liners are available in constructions ranging from silicone coated densified kraft and polycoated paper to non-silicone polyester
Delivers a Moderate Release Level
For specialty applications where silicone agents can slow down productivity or lessen finished product quality, our 3M™ Non-Silicone Secondary Release Liner 4935 is an excellent choice. Instead of silicone release chemistry, this 3.0 mil polyester film liner features a non-silicone, fluoropolymer release coating that delivers a medium release level. This coating is applied to one side of the film to suit secondary and double-liner constructions. High-strength polyester film can help reduce breakage during automated cutting and dispensing processes.

3M™ Non-Silicone Secondary Release Liner 4935 provides a moderate release level. 3M™ Non-Silicone Secondary Release Liner 5053 offers a lower release level, and 3M™ Non-Silicone Secondary Release Liner 5932 offers the tightest release level.

Recommended Applications:
  • Applications where silicone can leave residue or hamper subsequent processing
  • Automated die-cutting and dispensing where tear-outs are a concern
  • Applications requiring medium release level
