The Betafine PG Series Media Disc is an effective filter for a variety of chemical processing and pharmaceutical operations. This long-lasting filter is made from polypropylene components that comply with the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Title 21 parts 170-199 for contact with food.

Thorough product testing is how we’ve ensured the Betafine PG Series Media Disc is safe and performs at a consistently high level. The modified Oklahoma State University performance test helps us guarantee cartridge performance. The test showed that the Betafine PG Series media retained more than 99.99% of particulate at each grade’s absolute rating, for flow rates below four gallons per minute. Our product goes through thirteen additional safety tests to validate performance claims and product safety. The APT Advantage Filter longevity and excellent performance come from our advanced pleated design. If the filters are packed too tightly they can’t effectively use all the filter media. We’ve overcome this challenge by using Advanced Pleated Technology (APT). Featured in a number of exceptional 3M Purification Inc. products, APT increases the overall surface area of the filter media, allowing for a more even contaminant loading. APT also leads to increased flow rate and lower pressure drop to improve the overall performance. This product is made of all-polypropylene components that are free of adhesives. The filter’s clean and sturdy construction expands the range of uses, making it appropriate for use in a number of industries and applications.
