3M™ Perfect-It™ 1 Finishing Material is a high-performance, fast-cutting finishing material designed to remove 3M™ Trizact™ 3000 and finer scratches. When used with 3M™ Perfect-It™ 1 Foam Finishing Pads this unique formula cuts like a compound but handles and finishes like a polish.
The solution allows you to eliminate traditional rubbing compounds and machine polishes that are typically required to leave a high-gloss finish and reduce swirl marks. It's a specially-engineered formula that minimizes the stress and mess that often accompanies other solutions. The Perfect-It™ 1 finishing material and pad are preceded by Trizact™ abrasives, which are used to rid automotive panels of scratches and imperfections. The teal-colored pad corresponds with the teal-color liquid and cap on the Perfect-It™ Finishing material. We created these corresponding color schemes to help operators who conduct multiple applications in the shop keep track and minimize errors.
