3M™ Trizact™ Industrial Diamond PSA Cloth Disc 673FA delivers consistently fast and fine finishes on the hardest metalworking surfaces. It uses a waterproof, Y-weight cloth backing, which means it can stand up to aggressive application and be used with liquid coolants to reduce heat and loading. It also has a sticky adhesive to make disc attachment and removal quick and easy.
Makes Hard Finishing Easier
3M™ Trizact™ Industrial Diamond PSA Cloth Disc 673FA is an abrasive finishing disc designed to make quick work of even the toughest metalworking materials. This disc is ideal for flat lapping and rotary finishing on cemented carbide, carbons, ceramics and more, producing a fine finish with consistent results throughout the life of the disc. When you do need to make a change, this disc is backed with a pressure sensitive adhesive that firmly sticks to a backup pad and comes off clean. The waterproof construction makes this disc even more useful on hard surfaces when heat buildup is a concern, since it allows for use with liquid coolants. All of this combines to create a finishing disc that makes easy work out of hard surface finishing.
The Trizact™ Advantage
3M™ Trizact™ Industrial Diamond PSA Cloth Disc 673FA features an engineered surface of uniformly patterned, three-dimensional structures filled with sharp diamond abrasive grains. As the disc is used, the tops of the structures wear away, continually exposing fresh mineral. This cycle of renewal ensures a consistent cut rate and a fine finish throughout the long life of the abrasive disc. The uniform pattern also leaves small channels of space between each structure, which helps reduce loading, and allows liquid coolants to flow through the surface to further reduce heat buildup.
