3M™ Chemical Resistant Adhesive Transfer Tape 96105CR is designed to provide excellent chemical and water resistance for personal wearable electronic devices, including resistance to water, sweat, skin oils, cosmetics, sanitizers and household cleaners. It provides instant adhesion and high bond strength to high and medium surface energy substrates. The tape is double-linered for stability when die cutting and is suitable for small and narrow die cuts.

3M™ Chemical Resistant Adhesive Transfer Tape 96105CR is designed to bond and seal wearable electronic devices and provides instant stick for reliable assembly. It also provides excellent chemical resistance to the sweat, skin oils, cosmetics, sanitizers and household cleaners to which personal electronic devices are often subjected. At just 50 microns / 2 mils, this clear tape can be used to bond screens and helps consumer electronics keep a thin profile. It bonds well to high and medium surface energy substrates such as metals, plastics, polyimide films and ink-printed surfaces. The special proprietary adhesive provides immediate stick for assembly, and the time to final bond strength can be reduced by applying heat and lamination pressure. This tape is produced on a clean room coater, then protected with a clear liner on both sides; the liner also provides stability for small and narrow die cuts.
