The 3M™ Attest™ Super Rapid Readout Steam Biological Indicator Challenge Pack with Type 5 CI 41482/4182V/4182VF, is a pre-assembled, white-wrapped test pack designed to monitor 270°F/132°C 4-minute and 275°F/135°C 3-minute dynamic-air-removal saturated steam sterilization cycles. Each pack includes a 3M™ Attest™ Steam Chemical Integrator, Type 5 and a 3M™ Attest™ Super Rapid Readout Steam Biological Indicator, 1492V, Brown Cap, 24 minute.

The 3M™ Attest™ Super Rapid Readout Steam Biological Indicator Challenge Pack with Type 5 CI 41482/4182V/4182VF comes pre-assembled in a white wrap and includes a 3M™ Attest™ Chemical Integrator, Type 5, one 3M™ Attest™ Super Rapid Biological Indicator 1492V, Brown Cap, 24 minute, a record-keeping sheet and a chemical process indicator on the pack label for convenience and ease of use. The challenge pack is FDA-cleared, and both the biological indicator (BI) and chemical integrator (CI) included are ISO-compliant. The BI must be used with the 3M™ Attest™ Auto-reader 490 or 490M.

This convenient, disposable challenge pack is specifically designed for rapid and reliable qualification testing and routine monitoring of 270°F/132°C 4-minute and 275°F/135°C 3-minute dynamic‑air‑removal (pre‑vacuum and steam‑flush pressure‑pulse (SFPP)) saturated steam sterilization cycles in healthcare facilities. The pack presents a challenge to the sterilization process equivalent to the user-assembled biological indicator (BI) challenge test pack (16-towel PCD) recommended by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI).
