Tough tapes to take on tough jobs
For applications involving tough conditions, 3M has a tough backing that can be paired with different adhesives to make tapes that meet your needs.
Flexible tapes that resist abrasion and chemicals
Splice, insulate, reinforce, protect and seal with 3M polyester tape. These tapes feature a backing that’s thin but tough, with high tensile strength and resistant to slivering and stretching. Different pressure sensitive adhesives including acrylic, rubber and silicone are used to meet specific requirements, such as high temperature bake cycles and clean removal.
These flexible tapes offer excellent abrasion and chemical resistance. Recommended for masking as well as demanding applications in graphic arts, photography, metal finishing and electronics.
