Reliability

Innovation and the use of the technology, consistency and reliability are key principles of 3M.

To enhance consistency and reliability we adopt a process of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). It is targeted at integrating shop floor operators and mechanics into optimization and maintenance activities with a strong focus on production processes. By involving shop floor employees in planning, monitoring and decision processes and increasing their responsibilities TPM supports smooth machine runs, consistent product properties and exceptional production reliability. We have been TPM certified since December 2008.
