(DESCRIPTION) A cross section of the skin appears in a frame over the couch. (SPEECH) Your surgeon chose it for you because it helps hold incision edges together, provides protection from outside sources of infection, removes fluid if it develops from the incision, and helps reduce swelling. (DESCRIPTION) A green ball with yellow dots appears in the dog's mouth. (SPEECH) This state-of-the-art technology helps give you confidence that your incision is protected as you heal, and may help you feel more like yourself again. (DESCRIPTION) Text, How it works. (SPEECH) The system attached to your dressing consists of these components-- the therapy unit, which has a 7 or 14-day lifespan depending on the model and will automatically turn off when done, a connection tube, fluid collection canister, carrying case, and battery charger. (DESCRIPTION) A silhouette of a person on the TV screen shows the different options for wearing the strap. (SPEECH) The system is designed to be worn over or under clothing with the carrying case and adjustable strap.
