Make critical decisions with speed, precision and confidence.
Discover the impact on technician labor time and time to result.
Compare common technologies. Learn how to get more control over your testing process.
Feel confident in your pathogen testing process with the simplified, advanced technology of the 3M™ Molecular Detection System.
We offer a single post-enrichment protocol for all pathogens with ready-to-use reagents and same- or next-day results. You can even test multiple pathogens simultaneously, helping you save time, which may help reduce your labor costs.
Chosen as the primary method of detection for Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes, and Campylobacter.
The 3M™ Molecular Detection System will take your lab to the next level. Here’s how.
With one post-enrichment protocol and fewer steps than most tests on the market, our ready-to-use system makes it easy to train employees. Color-coded assay tubes with matching software screens make it simple to use, and the option for automation by Hamilton® foodInspect™ NIMBUS® brings flexibility to your process.
LAMP technology gives you more control at each step, including instrument self-check, matrix control, reagent control and software control. Run all assays simultaneously, testing up to 96 samples in each run, with results in as little as 15 minutes.
A space-saving design means you can do more, with less. Connect up to four instruments to the same computer for maximum throughput without additional work. You’ll drive productivity with a total capacity of 384.
Third-party validations confirm that our method has proven to be reliable and repeatable and performs equal to or better than the reference method to which it was compared.

Power up the system, launch the software and enter your data. Transfer enriched samples to the pre-filled lysis tubes.
Heat and cool the lysis tubes. Add the sample lysate to the reagent tubes.
Press start, load the instrument, and let it work. Monitor real-time presumptive results as pathogen DNA is detected.
