    Campylobacter

    Campylobacter is part of the natural gut microflora in chickens, turkeys, swine, cattle and sheep. It only takes 500 Campylobacter cells to cause infections in humans, making it an important pathogen test for food manufacturers.

    Listeria

    Listeria monocytogenes, a Gram-positive bacterium, is often found in moist conditions, including soil, surface water and decaying vegetation. Listeria monocytogenes is the most infamous of the 17 known species in the Listeria genus.
