The strength you need. The esthetics you desire.

Experience the difference 3M™ Chairside Zirconia can make in your practice.

Meet the new zirconia on the block

  • You need a well-balanced alternative for CAD/CAM zirconia crowns and bridges that maximizes new high-speed sintering technology. That’s why we’ve designed 3M Chairside Zirconia. It delivers efficiency without compromising strength or esthetics – allowing you to give your patients beautiful smiles with natural-looking dental restorations.

3M Chairside Zirconia boasts the high strength that restorations demand, with a high flexural strength of 1000 MPa (fast fired). And it's strong enough for use in a single-unit crown and a three-unit bridge restoration. It also requires a low minimum wall thickness of just 0.8 mm, enabling you to carry out less-invasive preparations and preserve more tooth structure.

Esthetics design to match the Vital Classic shade guide

Each zirconia block comes pre-shaded in Bleach, A1, A2, A3, A3.5, B1, C1 and D2 designed to match VITA classical shades. The result? Easy matching of 3M Chairside Zirconia to each patient’s tooth shade. Before/After photos courtesy of Gunnar Reich, DDS

    Boost Productivity and efficiency

3M Chairside Zirconia can be fast fired in high temperature sintering furnaces, including the CEREC® SpeedFire furnace (Dentsply Sirona) and Programat® CS4 furnace (Ivoclar Vivadent). 3M Chairside Zirconia is now supported by the CEREC® InLab Version 19.x or higher and can be milled with the CEREC® MC X5 / MC XL milling machines. With the CEREC® SpeedFire furnace (compatible with CEREC® Software 4.6.0 or higher), 3M Chairside Zirconia has a fast sintering time of approximately 20 minutes for a thin-walled crown.¹,²

  • 1) With one pontic supported on each side by a crown. 2) CEREC® SpeedFire furnace, restorations with particular designs (parameter integrated in CEREC® Software; wall thickness 1.2 mm or less). 3) 19.6 min for small, thin walled crowns; 22.4 min for all other crowns.

"The esthetics and sintering time of 3M™ Chairside Zirconia have made this my go-to zirconia material. It polishes very easily and has a good level of translucency."

Daniel Buttermann, DDS
