3M takes cybersecurity seriously. 3M maintains a written information security program that contains administrative, technical, physical, and environmental safeguards designed to protect 3M’s network and systems against unauthorized access and anticipated threats or hazards. As part of 3M’s information security program, employees receive information security awareness training at least once per year. 3M’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) for our enterprise level critical applications is independently certified to ISO/IEC 27001 and is audited on an annual basis by external auditors. Further, cybersecurity is one of the key enterprise risks that receive oversight of the Company’s Board of Directors. At least twice annually, the Chief Information Security Officer reviews the information security program with the Audit Committee of the Board, to which the primary responsibility for oversight of information security matters has been designated by the Board.
