A suggestionI got this clinpro sealant for my clinic last week,my daughter,6 yrs old, had a few pit and fissures to b corrected,so as soon as she saw me picking up this syringe with a thin needle like thing, she started crying and wanted to b o
ff the chair,I felt really bad,if I cannot do this filling for my daughter, how can I manage with my other small pts, then I had to convince her for some time that it's only a syringe with filling material and not for a shot,so I request you to come up with an alternative shape for the syringe, some cartoon character or something which the kids wud not b scared
looking at.
Thanks

pleased I received thisMy dentist applied this on a sensitive area on my tooth. This was painless and the taste was pleasant, not strong. I am pleased. He showed me a brief video which explained the science.

Low viscosity, easily visible sealant for effective placementWe've been using Clinpro sealant for over ten years and have been pleased with its retention rate if applied sparingly to the grooves of teeth. It doesn't seem to last as long if it is heavily applied; however, due to the easy flowability of the product it does seep into fissures very nicely.

I love this productI have heard about this product for years and have wanted to try it for sealants. I really liked the way it went on pink. So easy to apply. It thinned out easily and cured white. Loved it.

A sealant is a protective coating that fills in the grooves on the chewing surfaces of teeth to prevent cavities. If the grooves are deep or if brushing is not done adequately, food can get trapped and a cavity will begin to form. Sealants protect that space by filling in the deep grooves. Clinpro™ Sealant also releases fluoride to help protect the enamel on the tooth’s surface.
Yes, the application of sealants occurs on the tooth’s surface and should not make the patient uncomfortable. The process may vary for other sealants, but Clinpro™ Sealant requires cleaning the teeth, drying the teeth, placing the sealant with a syringe and then using a special light to set the material.
No, sealants are not permanent. They could last many years; however, they can chip or fall out. Visit your dentist and hygienist regularly to make sure they do not need to be replaced for continued protection.
Most dental insurance companies have coverage for sealants, especially for the application of sealants to children’s teeth. The insurance coverage varies for adults. If you are concerned, please check with your dentist or insurance company.
No, both children and adults can benefit from sealants. Clinpro Sealant can be applied to the teeth of children, teenagers or adults. If a person is at risk for cavities on the chewing surface of their teeth, they can receive sealants.
