Necessary for active kids!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on my daughter's carpet at her apartment because her kids are very hard on the carpet. VERY hard! ( I spend a lot of time at her house babysitting and visiting, so I have seen the carpet 3 days per week) We cleaned the carpet first, and then applied the Rug & Carpet Protector. It made it easier to shampoo the stains out, providing a sort of shield to the fibers. I'm so glad we tried this because she is able to keep the carpet cleaner.

Easy to Use

This was easy to use and I'm hoping that it will cut down on salt stains this winter. It seems to be doing great with protecting from dirt. Easy to use product that takes little time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied this to a new 8x10 mostly cream rug and I was pleased with the coverage the can had over my whole rug. It came out as a thin foam and there was enough to get a couple solid coats over the whole surface. Its provided a bit of peace of mind having small kids playing on the rug. It’s withstood a couple of sticky finger and marker incidents well. The rug has been just as soft since applying and I appreciate knowing it’s there.

So far so good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a sample to try. After I washed my rug, I applied this spray on it. It has so far surprised me for the better. We have 3 dogs, one of which is a puppy, and this rug is by the back door. It is doing a great job of protecting the rug from what I can tell.

Rug looks new
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So glad I decided to try this Scotch Guard Rug and Carpet cleaner. I have a few really nice rugs that I want to keep looking new. About a month ago I shampooed the rugs and carpet and use this Scotchgard on them and it is a blessing. Although several of us eat in the living room and there have been a few spills with the little ones, I was able to clean it right up and you can't even tell it happened. The spills came right up, they never sunk into the material and stayed right on top. Both my rugs look like I just bought them. This product truly is a protector.

It Does the Job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this rug protector as an incentive to give my honest review of how well it works. I actually like it and will use it again in the future. I used it on a runner rug that gets a lot of wear and tear from people and pets. It cleaned it pretty good and I like the smell. I don't know how well it protects against wet spills because that's not something I've had to encounter just yet. Overall I'd recommend it to others to try and enjoy.

Rug and carpet protector
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave it a while before review tor eally get a good feel for how this works and I have to say I like it overall. It made my rug feel funny but outside of that, it did not stain when coffee was spilled on it. It was cleaned immediately and didn't get a chance to really soak in that bad but it also didn't stain when I cleaned it up. I didn't even need to use the carpet cleaner which I was glad about because the carpet cleaner soaks the rug and padding which isn't good. I highly recommend!
