Scotch® Super 33+ Vinyl Electrical Tape is a 7 mil thick, premium grade tape that provides electrical insulation for all wires and cables rated up to 600V. The flame retardant tape withstands a temperature range of 0 to 221 °F ( 18 to 105 °C). It is compatible with solid dielectric cable insulation, synthetic cable insulations, jackets and splicing compounds.
Scotch® Super 33+ Tape is designed for above/below grade, indoor/outdoor, low and high voltage applications and for harnessing cables. This tape offers electrical and mechanical protection with the combination of a pressure sensitive, rubber resin adhesive and elastic, PVC backing. It provides a protective jacket for high voltage cable splices. This electrical tape is highly resistant to UV rays, abrasion, moisture, alkalis, solvents and many acids. UL Listed, CSA Certified and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.

This is quite possibly the worst electrical tape you could ever buy, sure, it prevents any unwanted contact, but the problem is that this tape is one of a kind that only adheres to itself and nothing else, you could wrap miles of this around whatever you want and slide it off with minimal effort, definitely never buying this again.

Best Automotive Tape
I needed to make a wiring harness for my project car. I protected the wire with plastic wire loom and used 3m 33+ tape to wrap around it every few inches. Looks better than factory! I might redo some of the factory wiring harnesses with this tape. Its exceptional and will stand up in an engine bay through summer and winter for years.

Good stuff
All pupose go to electrical tape. I don't buy junk tape and this certainly isn't. It's one of the many good quality scotch/3m tapes that I trust .

33, and 88 are the only vinyl tape I buy, and prefer to use. I am a retired construction electrician, and still look for those if buying tape. Thank you. Ken

Nothing better
As an electrician I use 33 almost everyday. I've used other brands and styles before but nothing compares at all. It stays flexible and sticky in the cold. It stretches and flexes to make nice tight wraps when pulling wire. If I open older electrical boxes that have grouped wires or taped connectors for added protection, I can usually tell if it was 33 mainly because its still on there because it doesn't dry out.

THE one to use!
33 works. Plain and simple. It's a fantastic all-purpose electrical tape. It's great in the toughest conditions: heat, oil, moisture, dirt. Holds up and doesn't get brittle or gooey. Use it every single day in a paper mill environment and I won't use anything else.
