I liked this product because of the function it has, you can fix pictures, some ornament, sign or anything that you can also remove easily.
The velcro it has is what makes it so practical.

Better than velcro, slightly.
I bought these to mount 2 small speakers inside a motorcycle helmet, because they looked like they would hold the speakers in place more securely than regular velcro. Mounted the speakers, and everything was going great, until the other day. It was a nice spring day, but apparently too hot because it caused the glue on the strips to melt to the point that when I pulled off my helmet, the same way I'd done hundreds off times before after I put the speakers in, both speakers fell out like there was nothing holding them in place at all. If 1 set can hold 6 pounds (according to the packaging) then if it's cut into three 1" squares, each one should hold 2 pounds, and I know each speaker weighs less than 1 pound, so the strips didn't fail from trying to support too much weight.
So although I do like the design of the locking feature of the strips, the glue backing isn't good enough to withstand warm temperature before losing strength. I've used regular velcro on the speakers since, and they're not as secure at holding the speakers in place when I put the helmet on or take it off, but the glue on the velcro is so stuck on after higher temperatures, that I don't think I'll be getting it off with any ease and without a lot of time.

Great for securing heavy pictures and mirrors!

Glue does not hold
Package says holds 10lbs, back of package says 6lbs and only says 2lbs. Held pressure on a clean plastic surface for 60 seconds and waited 10 min before trying to remove and the glue pealed right off. Velcro is strong but glue is worthless. Used similar products from 3m in the past with great results but the glue on this product is not worth it.
