New Design is Terrible. :(
I have to agree with the other reviews that the new design with the hole in the sponge is terrible. The old design was awesome. I have used this product for at least 7 years and usually make sure I have plenty of refills on hand. But I will discontinue use with the new design as it leaks too much soap and needs to be refilled way too often.

terrible new design
I echo the other thoughts her on the holes being too large and allowing for too much dish soap to escape. I see the standard reply from Scotch Brite, now come on...get to the redesign. It can't be that hard to make the hole smaller.

Too much soap is used
Hello, I too am disappointed with the new design. The soap dispensed just fine with he old design and with the new design it pours out and you have to refill it daily. Please bring back the old design!

I hate the new sponge and will not buy it again
I want the old design back. I never had a problem until now. I’ve used these is my kitchen for 30 years. I hate the hole in it. I have put soap in end several times while doing dishes. It wastes soap and water. Please bring back the old one.

Terrible new design
I too have been using this product for years but the new design is terrible. I fill the wand and by morning all the soap has leaked out in the sink. I do not recommend this new design product whatsoever. If I find the old design I will definitely stock up.

new design is horrible
I've used this product for 15+ years and have always been happy up until now. The new design in the sponge now has a large hole in it to allow the dish detergent out. Problem is, it releases TOO much dish detergent. Im having to fill it daily (with only 2 people in our household) and have to use a ton of water since so many suds.

Sponge keeps ripping from wand
I've just gone through three of these in the last 2 weeks as the sponge part is getting ripped from the plastic base that slides on the wand. Super disappointed as it is a name brand sponge! I've been washing dishes with soap wants for years now and this is the first time this is happening.
