Peltor™ Sport RangeGuard™ Electronic Hearing Protector is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 57.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from When they work, they are great... I have had a pair for a couple years now and indoors they work really well. I like the quality of the sound compared to other brands. I started using them outside and they started having lots of problems. I think condensation from sweat and humidity gets on the electronics and they start making weird static noises. This problem is much worse if it is cold outside. I never wore them in the rain, the moisture is from inside the ear pieces. This static noise would go away after they dried off, but they eventually stopped working altogether. I'm guessing the circuitry finally shorted out for good. I wish they were more moisture resistant for outdoor use (again I never wore them in the rain).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from headband broke I was super excited about my first electronic hearing protection. I was amazed with how well they worked. But only going out and using them a few times the headband broke. Making them completely useless now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Used to be amazing They ran strong for a few months until randomly the mic will skip out and itll be constant static until I turn them off then back on. Really wanted these to last awhile.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from works... kinda I bought these a long time ago, along with walker razors. I think the directional audio is far superior on these (the walkers make it sound like everything is either to the left or right so im assuming mono?) and as soon as you rack a slide you can hear the noise reduction start (its like i knows whats about to happen). however, i tested these outdoor and indoor, the sound of a 9mm from a glock 19 was NO different without the ear protection as with. at an indoor range? even worse. So, yes it is supposed to work, but unless you pair these with ear plugs forget it, might as well just go without ears.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nope I bought these less than a year ago. I went through batteries like crazy. They quit working and I don't know why. When they worked they were great besides the battery issue.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Water or Sweatproof I really enjoyed these. They were comfortable, lightweight and fit well under my helmet. But as soon as there’s a light rain or the sweat starts, they are toast. It took me two pair to figure out it wasn’t a manufacturer fault. Just poor design.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Slow response Used for shooting - does not mute first shot. There is a delay where 1st shot is loud then remaining shots are muted. Conversation is muffled by muting of surrounding noise more than other models.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not stand up I bought this product approx. 4 months ago. I am in the sheriffs academy and used this for a portion of the range exercise. One day we had a light drizzling rain. These did not stand up to the light rain. I had to borrow another set from a fellow cadet. The design is nice and comfortable but the durability was not there.
