Raise the standard, lower the nick rate
Whatever your hospital's surgical focus, work flow needs or budget, 3M surgical clippers support a positive perioperative experience for your staff, surgeons and patients.
When used with the 9660 blade, the unique pivoting head conforms to body contours, making it easy to provide a comfortable clipping experience for patients. You can efficiently cut through all types of head and body hair, wet or dry, in a single pass.
The 3M™ Surgical Clipper 9661L’s trusted 9660 blade offers performance advantages where it matters most – safety. The away-from-the-skin cutting position of the clipper blade minimizes nicks and cuts, which helps reduce the risk of SSIs. A nick rate of less than 2% was observed in a clinical study.1
Clip uninterrupted for a longer time. Charge for a shorter time. Powered by a Li-ion battery, the 3M™ Surgical Clipper 9661L provides 160 minutes of run time on a four-hour recharge.
Meets IPX7 rating of submersible in water no deeper than one meter for up to 30 minutes.

3M™ Surgical Clipper Blade 9680 is uniquely designed to prevent skin from being pulled into the cutting blade. Paired with away-from-the-skin blade positioning, it demonstrated a nick rate of just 5% in clinical studies, compared with the CareFusion® 4406 General Purpose Blade at 25%.
Powered by a lithium ion (Li-ion) battery, it provides 120 minutes of clipping time on a 4-hour recharge. This means the clipper always runs at full power even when not fully charged and can be stored in the charge stand without shortening the battery life².
