3M™ Venture Tape™ Polypropylene Tape 1583CW is a metallized white polypropylene laminate reinforced with a fiberglass/polyester fabric. Designed specifically to match Lamtec® Gymguard facing, it is coated with a cold weather acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive which provides quick stick at normal temperatures and performs well in cold and elevated temperatures.

Designed for High Impact Applications
Specially designed to match Lamtec® Gymguard facing, 3M™ Venture Tape™ Polypropylene Tape 1583CW is a nominal 8.5 mil tape excellent for lap joint, vapor seal and patch applications for insulation facings. It is comprised of a metallized white polypropylene laminate with fiberglass/polyester fabric reinforcement, coated with a cold weather acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. With excellent resistance to weathering, mold, UV and environmental conditions, this tape performs extremely well in both cold and hot temperature applications.

Cold Weather Performance
3M™ Venture Tape™ Polypropylene Tape 1583CW is coated with a proprietary pressure sensitive, cold weather, solvent acrylic adhesive specifically designed for cold weather applications, though this adhesive performs well at normal and high temperatures as well. This adhesive features a quick stick at normal temperatures and superior low temperature performance. With a service temperature ranging from -40°F/-40°C to 150°F/66°C, this tape can be applied in a variety of environmental conditions. Once bonded, it will provide good holding power for extended periods with good aging properties that resist lifting and curling.
