  • STEP ONE - LEVEL THE WELD
    Remove the weld with 3M™ Cubitron™ II Fibre Disc 987C, grade 60+. Set the grain, using a coated abrasive belt. Use 3M™ Red Ribbed Back-up pad to optimize performance.
  • STEP TWO - SETTING THE GRAIN
    Create directional scratch using 3M™ Cubitron™ II Belt 947A, grade 120+. Recommend using a 3M™ Inline Sander and 3M™ Expander Wheel.
  • STEP THREE - FINAL FINISHING
    To blend final finish, use a Scotch-Brite™ Surface Conditioning Belt ACRS for a #3 finish and AMED for #4 finish. Recommend using a 3M™ Inline Sander and 3M™ Expander Wheel.
  • STEP FOUR
    Do final blending and touch-up with Scotch-Brite™ 7447 PRO hand pads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Puts a razor edge on knives I saw a demonstration of a razor knife yesterday and managed to get some of the secrets of the guy's method out of him. He said the final step was to use a Scotch-Brite surface conditioning belt,and that's what led to this review.
