Longevity and cut rates are superior.
Used on a few projects around the shop - was a replacement for a older wheel. The cut speed for grinding is very fast, and the few projects I've used it on still having it looking almost brand new.

Worth every penny and more!
I use various brand grinding wheel on a regular basis grinding through welds most of the time. This product removes material faster and last significantly longer than most other products I've used.
It may seem like an irrelevant detail, but the material removed (the sparks) are significantly more substantial. Where as I have no problem grinding steel and have the sparks bounce off my skin for a short time, the sparks from this wheel are much hotter (I suspect dues to the greater mass of each particle).
The time it takes to go through material is much less, puts less heat into the part, and I am blown away how long the wheels last. At this rate, I could pay two to three times more and still be saving money.

Removes material fast and they last!
I got a sample of the grinding wheel to try and I am impressed! I build and repair trailers as a sideline and do a ton of grinding. I have been using another premium brand grinding wheels but when I compared the 3M against the other brand head to head... The 3M wheel was faster (same grit) and lasted much longer than the other major brand! Time is money as they say and comparing the two costs ways they are very comparable so I will be switching to 3M because they save time both in grinding and saving time with less wheel changes and that means more productivity which means more money!
