3M Precision-Shaped Grains
The 3M™ Silver Cut-Off Wheel features 3M Precision-Shaped Grain which continually fractures into super-sharp points and edges that slice cleanly through metal, rather than gouging or plowing as traditional abrasives do. This also helps it to last significantly longer than conventional ceramic grain abrasives while maintaining a high cut-rate over the life of the wheel.
Safety First
This wheel must be attached to a cut-off wheel tool (sold separately) and should always be used with a wheel guard for safety. The wheel also must have a maximum operating speed greater than or equal to the maximum speed of the power tool used.

Long lasting wheel
I got this wheel in a sample package and after using it, compared to other wheels, I would recommend it to anyone that does a lot cutting and shaping with a grinder. It held up longer than the brand I generally use and in my mind it cut quicker. Great product

Not as fast or durable as cubitron
Bought two boxes from dgisupply, I run these on my T.C. service and Rand G2 grinders.. my opinion is that you aren't losing performance in mild steel vs cubitron, other alloys may show the difference. For cutting aluminum, use bar soap on the disc to reduce loading. 3M, MAKE US SILVER FIBER SANDING DISKS.
